What Kind of food does Churrasco serve?
Churrasco is Brazilian style BBQ restaurant where cooked meats are continuously brought to your table and offered to you until you have had enough. The meal is $72 per person which includes different types of meat, salads and antipasto items.
We now also offer an a la carte menu option. This is available from Monday to Thursday ONLY, and seating is subject to availability. No bookings will be taken for tables that choose our a la carte menu option.
NB: Each table may select either the a la carte or the all-you-can-eat option, BUT NOT BOTH SIMULTANEOUSLY.
Does Churrasco serve Halal certified meats?
Yes! Churrasco serves Halal certified chicken, lamb and beef.
Do you have a kids menu?
Children are welcome to dine at Churrasco with their parents. We do not have a separate kids menu, children 5 years of age and under will not be charged and children 6 to 12 years will pay $28. Please notify us at the time of booking if a high chair or room for a pram is required.
What are your trading hours?
Churrasco COOGEE is open seven nights a week, Monday to Sunday from 5pm.
What credit cards do you accept?
Churrasco accepts American Express, Visa, Mastercard and EFTPOS. Please be aware, AMEX 1.5%, Visa and Mastercard bills will incur a 1.2% surcharge. NO SPLIT BILLS.
Do I need to make a booking?
Churrasco Coogee definitely recommends bookings which can be made using our online Reservations. Churrasco Coogee takes bookings, Monday - Sunday, from 5pm. Churrasco requires a credit card, holding deposit, for all bookings. There is a cancellation fee of $15pp, for bookings under 10 guests, or $250 for bookings of 10 or more guests. Your credit card will be charged, in the event, that you do not show up for your booking or if you cancel without 24hrs notice.
No bookings will be taken for tables that choose our a la carte menu option. Seating is subject to availability.
What about large parties?
Churrasco is more than happy to cater for large groups. We do require that groups over 20 guests choose from one of our food and drink packages, this makes life easy for everyone. We have a variety of packages to suit everyone’s tastes and budgets, these will be emailed through to you. Large bookings over 30 or more will be required to leave a 50% deposit at the time of booking, as the food is prepared and cooked just before your arrival, parties will be charged for the amount of guests they have booked for. All bookings with 15 or more guests will be charged a 5% service fee on the bill total.
Do you do functions/venue hire?

Do you do take away?
You spoke, we listened – so Churrasco now does Take away! Order online via our website for pick-up or delivery. Order here!
Do you cater for vegetarians?
Churrasco does cater specifically for vegetarians and there is a minimum charge of $40 per person. Vegetarians are welcome to eat from the vegetarian options on the menu. There is plenty of salad, vegetables and antipasto items available. Please let your waiter know if you are vegetarian.
Is Churrasco a licensed restaurant or BYO?
Churrasco isn’t BYO. They are fully licensed restaurants and have a large range of beers, wine, spirits and cocktails available.
Does Churrasco sell gift certificates?
Churrasco does have Gift Certificates, these can be purchased online and in person at our restaurant.
What is the dress code?
Churrasco does not enforce a dress code. Obviously patrons must wear shoes and look respectable.
Can I bring a cake? Do you have a ‘cakage’ fee?
Guests are welcome to bring a birthday cake if they choose, we do not have a cake fee. We also have delicious desserts that we can bring to your table, with a candle, if you require.
Where do you recommend customers park? Is there parking nearby?
Churrasco Coogee is surrounded by street parking. There is also a parking lot beside the Coogee Oval, situated a 5 min walk from the restaurant.
Do you have wheelchair access and disables bathrooms?
Churrasco has good wheelchair access and a disabled toilet facility. Please notify us at the time of booking and we will do the best to make this guest as comfortable as possible.
